www.scene.org/file_dl.php?url=ftp://ftp.scene.org/pub/parties/2007/breakpoint07/demo/fr-041_debris.zip&id=373930That's a link to a demo coded for the PC. It's only 179KB. From the docs included in the download: system requirements: --------------------
- minimum: * p4 2ghz or athlon 2000+ (with sse) * 512mb ram * ps2.0 capable graphics card with 128mb vram * directx 9.0c - recommended: * core2duo or athlon x2 with >=2.4ghz * 1024mb ram * geforce 7600/radeon x1600 or better with 256mb vram I can watch it without problems: 1280x1024 (4:3) Multisampling=none Texture quality=high Full screen=yes Shadows=yes Wait for VSync=yes If I enable multisampling at 2x I get some slight judder with quick movement. My machine specs: AMD Athlon X2 dual core 64 bit 2.6GHz (5200+) Windows XP Pro SP2 (32bit) 4GB DDR2 800MHz PC6400 RAM 2TB hard drive Creative SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum 2ex asus KN9 SLI motherboard ATI Radeon X1650 Pro 256MB PCI-e It was written by a demo group calling themselves "Farbrausch" and these guys are in the software industry. If anything it's worth watching to see tomorrow's software technology today. There are some mindblowing effects in this. When you watch it remember the download is the combined memory of just under THREE Commodore 64 computers!!! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_64PS. If your CPU is dual core don't multiply the GHz by 2 - My PC is 2.6GHz, not 5.2GHz
